Hi, I’m Will from Bay Alarm Medical and today, we have a question from John.

John wants to know “How do I set up my In-home medical alert system?”

Well, when you un-box your system, you will get a unit with a phone cord connected as well as an adapter. Keep both of these connected as we will need them for the set up.

If you have a traditional system, take the phone cord from the unit and plug it into a phone jack in your wall. Then, you will want to plug the adapter into a power outlet. The system will then turn on and say “System Ready”, with that, the system will be ready to test and use.

If you already have a phone plugged into the wall jack, go ahead and unplug it and insert it into the back of the system where it says “phone”, you will then continue to plug the grey phone cord that came with the system into your wall jack.

Now, if you have modem from your cable company to run your phone service, you will have to plug the cord into the modem. However, this can be tricky so if you do run into any problems we have a wonderful tech support team that will be more than happy to help you.

If you have any other questions, give us a call at 1-877-522-9633.

Thank you!
