  • Flexible payment styles

    Bay Alarm Medical payment plans are month-to-month, every 3 months or every 6 months. We make it simple to start — and stop — your service at any time.

  • Which plan is right for me?

    Every customer is different and has their own individual needs. We have customers that have been with us for several years, so these customers take advantage of the lower semi-annual price. Other customers might only need the system for a couple of months, so it's in their best interest to go with the monthly plan and have the flexibility to cancel at any time. Finally, some of our clients aren't sure whether they will need the system for the long haul and decide to get the best of both worlds. They opt for the quarterly option because it's the best balance between price and flexibility.

  • Is there a trial period?

    Yes. We provide a 14-day trial period from the date the system arrives at your doorstep.

  • Is there a discount if I commit to a longer term?

    Yes, we offer discounts on up-front quarterly and semi-annual commitments.

  • Can I switch plans?

    Yes. Give us a call at 1-877-522-9633 and tell us which plan you’d like to move to. With that being said, our monthly rate is still much more inexpensive than that of other medical alert system companies.

  • How do I cancel service?

    Simply give us a call to let us know you're canceling. Ship the equipment back to our corporate headquarters: 2600 Stanwell Dr, Suite 103, Concord, CA 94520. We recommend getting a tracking number when shipping the package back to us. Once we receive the equipment back, your account will be canceled and no further charges will be billed to your credit card.

  • What's your refund policy?

    A full refund will be issued if the equipment is returned by the end of the 14-day trial period. While we don't have any cancellation fees, please note that there are no refunds or pro-rations for unused months. If you are unsure about how long you or your loved will need our service, we highly recommend that you choose either the Monthly or Quarterly plan.

Only complaint is that the lights are too small
Only complaint is that the lights are too small for a vision-impaired person. My mother-in-law cannot tell if the unit is charged or even on without making a call. That said, the call center responds quickly and they are very friendly. Overall, I would recommend this product.

Chose Bay Alarm after much research
When our Mom FINALLY agreed to have a medical emergency device, we did a great deal of research. We looked at devices, communication, reviews, costs, etc. Based on all that, plus our experience dealing with customer service, we chose Bay Alarm. Luckily, our Mom has not had any emergencies. But based on the cost, set-up, etc. Bay Alarm has been great, and we definitely recommend.

Nothing but great customer service.
Tech support always there to help. Set up was a bit confusing, but one call and all issues were resolved. There are false alarms with the motion activated (fall protection) necklace but so what. My wife was having this problem with the fall protection necklace so we ordered a bracelet. (Not shown on the website) She switches back to the fall protection necklace once she is out of bed. That seems to work for her.

Fantastic customer service. Not so sure about the monitoring...
In reality, we did not have the system long. It was very easy to order, install and return. My one concern, which was a major concern was that my father's phone was turned off due to a move in the middle of the night(3:00 a.m.), that is another review. The machine called out for him to call. I got there at 8 in the morning and couldn't disable it...only a small problem. BUT...why when my father didn't call and they couldn't reach him, did they not go down the call list? I also called the non-emergency police number to advise them that there wasn't an emergency should they receive a call from Bay Medical and to ask if they had received a call and they hadn't. Fortunately, not a life threatening situation, but easily could have been.

I have to say this was the easiest …
I have to say this was the easiest set up than I've had in a long time. No special tools needed, no lengthy directions to read. Take it out of the box, plug it in to the wall and the phone jack and bingo, we're done. It gives me and my family peace of mind having it in my home. I had a series of falls recently so that's what made my family talk to me about have an emergency response system for my home. I live alone so I know I can always get help if I need it.get

The first one they sent wouldn't work with our wireless phone system. The second one requires having a dedicated phone jack. However, now it works. I think they should have to test it once a month. How do I know it's working?

To save a life
I have been rushed to the hospital 3 times now "resptory failure", & doctors of the er told i would bot of made it, if it weren't for friends that just happened to be visiting, i live alone and my boyfriend got me the Bay Medical Alert. I thank goodness i have not yet had to push the simple little buttom on my alert device, BUT I SURE DO FEEL AWHOLE ALOT SAFER, AND IT NRINGS ME PEACE-of-MIND. Always helpful
When my grandsons push the help button (always an accident!) or if mom accidentally hits the button whoever comes on to talk to us is very kind and understanding and is careful to appraise the situation to make sure it's not an emergency. So far we haven't had to use it in an actual emergency but someone has always been there very quickly when the button is activated.
