  • Flexible payment styles

    Bay Alarm Medical payment plans are month-to-month, every 3 months or every 6 months. We make it simple to start — and stop — your service at any time.

  • Which plan is right for me?

    Every customer is different and has their own individual needs. We have customers that have been with us for several years, so these customers take advantage of the lower semi-annual price. Other customers might only need the system for a couple of months, so it's in their best interest to go with the monthly plan and have the flexibility to cancel at any time. Finally, some of our clients aren't sure whether they will need the system for the long haul and decide to get the best of both worlds. They opt for the quarterly option because it's the best balance between price and flexibility.

  • Is there a trial period?

    Yes. We provide a 14-day trial period from the date the system arrives at your doorstep.

  • Is there a discount if I commit to a longer term?

    Yes, we offer discounts on up-front quarterly and semi-annual commitments.

  • Can I switch plans?

    Yes. Give us a call at 1-877-522-9633 and tell us which plan you’d like to move to. With that being said, our monthly rate is still much more inexpensive than that of other medical alert system companies.

  • How do I cancel service?

    Simply give us a call to let us know you're canceling. Ship the equipment back to our corporate headquarters: 2600 Stanwell Dr, Suite 103, Concord, CA 94520. We recommend getting a tracking number when shipping the package back to us. Once we receive the equipment back, your account will be canceled and no further charges will be billed to your credit card.

  • What's your refund policy?

    A full refund will be issued if the equipment is returned by the end of the 14-day trial period. While we don't have any cancellation fees, please note that there are no refunds or pro-rations for unused months. If you are unsure about how long you or your loved will need our service, we highly recommend that you choose either the Monthly or Quarterly plan.

RESPONSE IS FANTASTIC
My Aunt has used this service on 3 occasions in the past 2 months since we signed up. They have been fantastic with calling me and letting me know that she had pushed 'the button' for help and that the paramedics were with her. They also advise what the situation was, to the best of their ability based on what my Aunt told them was the reason for her call. Set up was super easy and using this is also very simple. I would recommend this company to everyone. And also they have the best plan rates, cancellation policy etc. This brings such peace of mind to both the person who needs this, as well as the caregiver. :)

Pleased So Far
I have been using the medical alarm for only a short time. I accidentally set it off one day and was pleased with the quick response, asking if help was needed. Only after I assured the caller that all was well, was the contact disconnected.

Great Company and Customer Friendly!
We have found all of our experiences with Bay Alarm Medical to be very pleasant. Staff has been helpful with our concerns and operators are patient and friendly. We have communicated with them monthly for testing purposes and they have been very receptive of our requests to please talk slowly when questioning our mother. She was having difficulty understanding the operator and we asked that the account be flagged for all assisting personnel to be aware of this. They were extremely grateful for this information and so noted her account for all responders.

Fall Alert Device too Touchy
We opted for the special fall alert device for our mom, but it was too easily set off. This resulted in several nighttime calls from Bay Alarm which woke mom up and greatly confused her. Also problematic was the fact that only one base unit was provided. That meant having to choose between placing it in the bedroom or kitchen/living area. The layout of mom's house meant that neither location was ideal. It would be helpful if two base units are provided with the service.

Fabulous
Caring and friendly service, The unit is easy to install The best decision I made since I turned 82 and it gives my kids peace of mind. I looked at other units but Bay alarm medical came up as the winner for me!

Overall, good.
The system provides peace of mind for my family, as I live alone. My three brief conversations with the staff (when the system was being set up and tested) was less than satisfactory. I felt they were being patronizing -- treating me like a dottering old person. I also think they should not address me by my first name -- also patronizing.

It Works!
I tried the GreatCall Lively GPS model and after 5 devices in 2 months I gave up. They just kept dying.The Bay Medical GPS model works. I have had it for 2 months and tested it several times and it works. It doesn't have some features of the GreatCall but what's important is IT WORKS! Customer services has been very help when I call and ask questions.

Fall detection iffy
The pendent they give you is quite large and in my opinion excessively bulky. We had several false alarms. I do not have confidence that it would work in the case of a fall.

Fell
Tripped over blind dog, fell into tub, shower door wall against one side blocking way to pull up, wedged against wall other side could only move fingers, activated alarm around neck, local fire department came in minutes, actually saved my life.
