    Bay Alarm Medical payment plans are month-to-month, every 3 months or every 6 months. We make it simple to start — and stop — your service at any time.

  • Which plan is right for me?

    Every customer is different and has their own individual needs. We have customers that have been with us for several years, so these customers take advantage of the lower semi-annual price. Other customers might only need the system for a couple of months, so it's in their best interest to go with the monthly plan and have the flexibility to cancel at any time. Finally, some of our clients aren't sure whether they will need the system for the long haul and decide to get the best of both worlds. They opt for the quarterly option because it's the best balance between price and flexibility.

  • Is there a trial period?

    Yes. We provide a 14-day trial period from the date the system arrives at your doorstep.

  • Is there a discount if I commit to a longer term?

    Yes, we offer discounts on up-front quarterly and semi-annual commitments.

  • Can I switch plans?

    Yes. Give us a call at 1-877-522-9633 and tell us which plan you’d like to move to. With that being said, our monthly rate is still much more inexpensive than that of other medical alert system companies.

  • How do I cancel service?

    Simply give us a call to let us know you're canceling. Ship the equipment back to our corporate headquarters: 2600 Stanwell Dr, Suite 103, Concord, CA 94520. We recommend getting a tracking number when shipping the package back to us. Once we receive the equipment back, your account will be canceled and no further charges will be billed to your credit card.

  • What's your refund policy?

    A full refund will be issued if the equipment is returned by the end of the 14-day trial period. While we don't have any cancellation fees, please note that there are no refunds or pro-rations for unused months. If you are unsure about how long you or your loved will need our service, we highly recommend that you choose either the Monthly or Quarterly plan.

Fall detection iffy
The pendent they give you is quite large and in my opinion excessively bulky. We had several false alarms. I do not have confidence that it would work in the case of a fall.

Tripped over blind dog, fell into tub, shower door wall against one side blocking way to pull up, wedged against wall other side could only move fingers, activated alarm around neck, local fire department came in minutes, actually saved my life. should have signed up sooner
It was a fall by my handicap husband taking me down with him that convinced us it was time for a home alert system. Needed help with initial setup and 1 call to customer service had us up and running. Customer service was extremely helpful and friendly. We push the alarm once a month to test the system and the response is always fast and friendly. Don't know why we waited so long to sign up.

Bay Alarm Medical--Good system but billing process needs improvement.
My mother's system works well and it provides us comfort that help is only seconds away if she needs it. However, their billing process/communication needs improvement. Once they have your credit card number, they don't notify you when they're charging your card and you only find out about it when you review your monthly credit card statement. It would be nice to receive an email from them at the very least, with notice that they'll be charging your card on x date. It's also ridiculous that they want to charge you $30 if you want to pay by check. What about our seniors who don't have a credit card?

Great way for seniors to feel safe at home.
Since my other half has been away much of the time for work I find myself alone most nights. This never bothered me when I was younger but now that I am a senior I felt a bit uncomfortable knowing that there is always that possibility that the unexpected could occur while I am alone. The Bay Alarm Medical was the perfect answer and I can sleep confidently knowing that should a problem arise I can call for help immediately. I hope I never have to use it but it is nice knowing it is there. It also gives me protection when I am outside working in my yard.

Excellent sales dept
The sales agent (Carlos) is excellent in assisting with my questions and issues. With a previous order which had to be cancelled (I had an incompatible VOIP system), the Customer Service department was somewhat less helpful. I appreciated that they informed me that the system had to be returned that day (last of trial period) to avoid being charged. Unfortunately they could not provide me with a RMA (free shipping back). Nor did they inform me that there was a procedure which I should have followed to power down the base unit. I received such an email the next day, which was of course too late, since I had rushed to a shipper to return the system the evening before. Otherwise, I'm very pleased with the response by the monitor team exemplified when my mother (for whom this unit vital) placed the fall detect pendent down on a hard surface and triggered a call as she was preparing to be bathed by the home care lady. BTW, with the previous unit, the Tech Support team was very professional and attempted to resolve the issue, which turned out to be a compatibility issue with the VOIPo companies VOIP phone unit.
