How does it connect to my home?

Bay Alarm Medical offers both both in-home and on-the-go devices. Our in-home systems connect via a traditional landline or via cellular and our mobile devices all connect via cellular.

If you're unsure on which system or device to choose, give us a call and we'll help you figure it out.

Does Insurance cover the costs?

You will need to contact your provider to determine if coverage is available.

Is there a trial period?

Yes. We provide a 30-day trial period from the date the system arrives at your doorstep. If you decide the system isn't right for you, ship the system back to us and we'll refund your money minus shipping costs.

Will my monthly rate ever increase?

With our Price-Lock Guarantee, your monthly rate will never increase.

What's your refund policy?

You may cancel your Bay Alarm Medical subscription at any time and we will refund any unused months less shipping costs.

How do I cancel service?

Give us a call to let us know you're canceling and ship the equipment back to our corporate headquarters: 1140 Galaxy Way, Suite #150 Concord, CA 94520. We recommend getting a tracking number when shipping the package back to us.

Once we receive the equipment back and complete our inspection process, the account will be canceled. The cancellation process can take up to 2-3 weeks. Any unused months will be refunded based on the post-mark date, and no further charges will be billed to your credit card.

Dad is struggling with age related dementia and we received some updated equipment which needed to be charged and then synched to the system.When I explained my situation, that Dad was having... trouble following instructions, (He just turned 88 and is trying to remain independent for as long as possible) the Customer Service Rep could not have been more patient or kinder as she walked me (and Dad) through the set up and synchronization and then testing of all his device systems.One thing that my family was not aware of was, we were told that we had the availability to add myself as a participant on the account to make decisions/payments be notified of new equipment or batteries that needed charged etc. So we did so giving my siblings and I peace of mind that everything is as it needs to be in the event that Dad does need emergent help.After speaking with my siblings and adding care giver tracking we have a greater sense of Dad being able to get the help he needs while he can still remain in the family home. I recommend Bay Alarm.The alert response by Bay Alarm is swift. They have been excellent to work with.I understand that they’re trying to increase staff since COVID, so the hold time for general... help is a bit long. When I have reached an assistant, they have always been kind and immediately helpful.My one comment is that they PLEASE change their on phone hold music…it’s mind numbing. In the past few days all members of the Bay Medical Alert staff has been very cordial and pleasant to talk to as well being very... knowledgeable on the equipment.Zack was very helpful and made sure he had answered all the questions that I had.
