ALAN: Hi, my name is Alan and I am the Marketing Manager for Bay Alarm Medical and today we have a question from Dylan from Santa Cruz. Dylan asks “Most of your competitors charge more for their medical alert services, how are you able to keep your prices so low?”
This is a great question Dylan. It boils down to two main reasons.
So, the first reason is the way Bay Alarm Medical advertises. To be honest, we actually don’t do a lot of advertising. You’ll never see us on TV, you’ll never hear us on the radio, and you’ll probably never see a billboard of us in your city.

What we do like to focus on, however, is our commitment to customer service. Our goal is to provide the best customer service to you. And in turn, we hope that you’ll refer our product to your friends, your family, and your loved ones.
To be honest, that is our greatest advertising asset because most of our sales are word-of-mouth referrals. So that’s number one.

Number two is our long-lasting relationship with our hardware manufacturers. So if you don’t know, Bay Alarm, our parent company, has been in business since 1946.
They’ve had relationships with a ton of manufacturers, one of which is the medical alerts that we provide to you when you sign up. And because we’re able to get good pricing on the equipment, we’re able to pass along the savings to you.
