About Kayla
I’ve been part of the Bay Alarm Medical Team since 2013, and have over a decade’s worth of customer service and sales experience. Aside from working at Bay Alarm Medical, I love photography and watching football (especially the 49ers). One of my biggest goals in life is to travel the world, make new friends and create fun memories.
Kayla's Role at Bay Alarm Medical
With over 10 years of experience in the medical alert industry, I support both our Inside Sales and Customer Retention teams, with a deep commitment to protecting seniors and providing peace of mind to their families. I ensure both teams lead with a compassionate approach, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support through some of their most stressful times. My favorite part about serving our customers is when I get to hear the success stories, of how our products and our people saved their loved one’s life. It always makes me feel like we are part of the family!
What has the Medical Alert Industry Taught You?
The medical alert industry has been such a different experience compared to my previous sales positions with other companies. Instead of having the goal of aggressively selling and pushing products, this industry requires a higher level of care and honesty. Our team likes to act as doctors, though we haven’t had years of medical school, we really listen to our customers to determine what their fall history is, any medical conditions they have, and most of all, if our service is really a good fit for their needs. We never sell our products and services to people if they don’t need it.
Kayla's Advice For Customers
I always stress testing your medical alert system regularly. This is important so you can be sure that it will function properly in an emergency. We recommend testing it once a month and contacting our customer service line if ever you need assistance.
