Bay Alarm Medical offered us many more years of independent living for my mother in her life. The confidence and assurance it gave her to have them available at the push of a button allowed her to sleep better and live her life more fully in her condo. Today we part ways with Bay Alarm Medical after 5 and a half years. Thank you Bay Alarm Medical for your great staff and comfortable caring service even when I called to cancel service. Always professional and quality support! I will continue to recommend you to others and would quickly choose to start service again if the need should arrive again in our family.

Monitored in the USA for Maximum Reliability

A medical alert system is only as good as the 24/7 emergency call center that backs it up. Bay Alarm Medical works closely with our USA-based monitoring partner to create a network of highly reliable emergency response centers. Located in Ogden, Utah and Rexburg, Idaho, the two state-of-the-art centers are full duplicates of each other. If one station were to ever go offline, the other station would provide immediate emergency coverage.

Strategically Separated

Bay Alarm Medical provides consultation, technical support and customer service from our headquarters in California. We keep 24/7 medical monitoring completely separate from our day to day business operations to ensure that all emergency calls are rapidly responded to.

Certified & Rated #1 in America

Both 24/7 emergency medical monitoring centers are CSAA Five Diamond Certified and undergo a rigorous certification process annually, commit to tough quality standards, and agree to random inspections by UL, a nationally recognized testing laboratory.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are medical alert systems covered by Medicare?

Do senior organizations recommend medical alert systems?

Senior organizations like AARP recommend medical alert systems because they help seniors stay safe and age in place at home. Some medical alert services offer AARP discounts or other special pricing options. Learn how to choose the best medical alert system for your needs.

Do I need a landline to use a medical alert system?

Traditional medical alert systems require a base station in the home connected to a landline. Excellent service by Bay Alarm Medical. My mother was home alone and fell . The pendant alarm around her neck worked perfectly. EMTs were contacted, arrived on the scene, and her son was contacted... as wellMy only complaint is that Bay Alarm contacted all 5 persons on the emergency contact list, even though it reached the first person on the list and he said he would arrive at his mother’s house in 10 minutes. Contacting everyone on the emergency list was unnecessary and caused needless panic.read more

After being diagnose with A-Fib with RVR, my doctor recommended that I get a medical alert device. I talked to a lot of people and shopped around and chose Bay Alarm Medical. They've been rated as... America's Number One Medical Alert Company. Their response time is phenomenal and their customer service is second to none! Their prices are also extremely reasonable too, which I can't say for a lot of these companies. I got the GPS unit, so it goes everywhere that I go, so I know that anytime I might need help, it's only a button push away! Thanks Bay Alarm Medical for giving me and my family piece of mind! 5 STARS!!!read more

My mother loves Bay Alarm. It gives her great confidence to have the main device as well as the lanyard around her neck. She's had several occasions to use the service to get help. Someone is always... immediately on the line and EMS is sent right away.I had an excellent customer service experience today ordering a lanyard to replace on the Mom lost. The rep took a lot of care to make sure the right product was ordered. I appreciated the call. My family needed a service we can depend on and Bay Alarm provides us with the confidence we need.read more

Prompt and efficient customer/technical service on a SUNDAY afternoon! I was pleased and impressed that we were able to diagnose and resolve the battery issue with my Dad's GPS medical alert device.... Zach in technical service was a consummate professional from beginning to end and inquired about my Dad's well-being and then was patient as my sometimes cantankerous 90-year-old father insisted on telling the entire story. Zack knew immediately that Dad's 2017 GPS device was a now-obsolete 3G network model and he quickly provided us the information to upgrade to a 5G network model for a modest one-time cost. Bay Alarm Medical has been great to work with since I discovered them after my Mom's death in late 2017 which left Dad all alone out in the country. So far, he remains healthy and independent but the house medical alert device and the GPS device have provided Dad and the rest of our immediate family the peace of mind of knowing Dad can get help anywhere, anytime and that we can keep a digital eye on Dad with text and email alerts. Well done Team Bay Alarm Medical !!read more

I called to have my grandmother's life alert fixed, and I spoke with Naveed. He was super helpful and patient with me. My grandmother's house is old and the telephone and internet lines are an... addition to the house as technology evolved. He was super understanding, patient and helpful. I truly appreciate his dedication and he was able to resolve the issue. It turns out that my grandmother's landline wire no longer liked the wall it was attached too, and we moved it and that solved the issue.read more
