I wasn't thrilled with the service the Bay Alarm Medical Alert watch provided. We got the watch because it said the watch had fall detection. However, my Dad fell twice and somehow, Bay Alarm didn't... contact my Dad. One time he hit is head. Thankfully someone was in the home and heard the fall. When I asked Bay Alarm why they didn't respond, they said if the fall is not abrupt enough, it may not register as a fall. My Dad fell from a chair he thought would be a good idea to stand on to reach something. The fall landed him in the hospital. If that isn't detected, then I don't know what would need to happen for the watch to detect a fall. On the flip side, we would get calls when absolutely nothing warranted a call.On a positive note, the customer service reps, including the most recent rep, Cal, are always very friendly and eager to assist. However, we have since canceled our service.read more
