The medical unit was sending signals to Bay Alar. Through no fault or medical emergency. After hours. We kept getting phone calls thst the device was bring set off. We advised that there was no... medical emergency. To stop phone calls.This went on until past midnight. Finally had to to to my parents housecwhere debice is. Called Bay Alarm. The monitoring center is not trained to turn off calls. A fiasco. Then finally coukd see box was sending error codes. Had to elevate to get someone to stop this so we could sleep. They only stopped it for 12 hours, then had to call again. My parents do not physically live with us. Had to go back over, to get technical help during those hours. A very frustrating few days.Sarah, the technical person,was wonderful. Assisted in all our needs and fixed the problem. Professional, accurate, kind and empathetic. PerfectAdvice for Bay Alarm. Hire technical help After hours if its nit a medical emergency. The customer shoukd not be inconvenienced with repeated phone calls that are not necessary.even unplugging phone doesnt work. Apparently if no one answers the phones they send EMTs. Costly, it seems, when just adding technical help after hours to troubleshoot issues that are not medically related coukd resolve issues. If not, train the monitoring people to fix things if necessary. The customer has no options if it is an equipment malfunction to stop phone calls and render that it is a unit problem, not medical.Sarah, again, during hours the technical people work was excellent. Flaw in the process to not have trained technic8ans after hoursFrom a response perspective medically, no issues. My parents have had Bay Medical for years. This is all technical related and not having sufficient assistance after hours to disconnect system and eliminate phone calls to repeatedly occur, even after letting them know it was not a medical emergency.read more
