VIDEO: Why Won’t GPS Work at Home?

Bay Alarm Medical’s GPS Medical Alert system is what we refer to as the go-anywhere, do-anything system. Whether at work, running errands or out having fun, the device offers 24/7 monitoring at the push of a button. The GPS Medical Alert system, however, does not work in the home to replace our in-home systems.

Hi, my name is Bryan. I’m a Senior Care Consultant here at Bay Alarm Medical. Today we have a question from Debbie out of New York:

“Why won’t GPS work at home?”

This is a very common question that we get every day here at Bay Alarm Medical. The main reason why the GPS device won’t work in doors is because of GPS drift. When a GPS device is in one location for an extended period of time, the signals won’t always feed out. When the GPS device is in motion, the satellites are better able to pick up those signals. That is why we recommend going with one of our bundle packages.
