Kayla: Hi. I’m Kayla and today I’m going to be doing the unboxing of your new Baylor Medical Alert System. Let’s see what we have here. You’re going to get a pile of paper work on top but it’s just your instructions on how to set everything up and most importantly, your information form. That’s where you’re going to be putting all of your contacts and who you want to called in the event of an emergency as well as any access information on how you’d like paramedics to get into your home.

We also have here our BIOS life. This is important. You’re going to be putting all of your medical information in here including allergies, any medications you’re taking, who your doctor is and what hospital you prefer to be taken to in the event of an emergency. Typically this is placed on your refrigerator so that paramedics can take it with them if they do need to transport you. You also get a couple vouchers to give out to your friends.
Basically, if any of your friends were to sign up with us and use your voucher, you’ll both get a month of service for free, so it’s a pretty cool deal. This is your base unit for your medical alert system. Now, this one is going to be plugged into a landline, however, if you’re using a cellular system it’s going to look pretty similar to this just with an antenna. It’s going to come with your choice of a button. For the sake of the video, I just have a necklace button here.

I also want to show you guys a couple add-ons here that most of our customers will find helpful. One is a lock box. This is something you’re going to put your keys in and it’s going to be placed outside of your home and will have the code on file to be able to tell the paramedics so that they get into your home without breaking anything. Another really popular item is our wall button.

A lot of people will put this throughout their home. I recommend just at least throwing one in your bathroom as backup. This just goes right on your wall. Typically, near the baseboard so that if there is a fall and you’re not wearing your button you’re still able to press something. That’s everything that should be in your box unless you purchased other items. Give us a call if you have any trouble getting any of this started. We’ll be happy to help. Our phone number is 877-522-9633. Thank you.

Remember, we can answer all of your questions about medical alert systems.
