Senior Fitness Series #2: Rose Eases Arthritis Pain

Did you know 1 in 5 adults in the U.S. has been diagnosed with arthritis? The pain can be debilitating, but there are things you can do to help relieve that pain. According to the Mayo Clinic, exercise is crucial for arthritis patients as it can help improve strength and flexibility as well as reduce joint pain.

Rose regularly participates in a fitness class at the Pleasant Hill Senior Center, and has found that exercise is helpful in managing the arthritis pain in her back.
