Inquiring minds want to know: “How many feet does your medical alert system cover?”

We get a lot of questions like this about the range of our system since there are lots of medical alert companies out there offering similar, yet slightly different services. Medical alert system range refers to how far away you can be from the base unit (the box) for it to still pick up a signal when you press your emergency button.

Xavier, one of our Customer Service Representatives, explains the range of our medical alert systems in the video below.

XAVIER: Hi, my name is Xavier. I’m a Customer Service Representative here at Bay Alarm Medical. Today we have a question from Bonnie in Tennessee, and she asks “How many feet does your medical alert system cover?”

Well Bonnie, that’s a good question. Our In-Home Medical Alert System covers up to 1,000 feet in any direction, which is the equivalent of three football fields. If you were to go beyond that distance, we also offer our GPS service that can be taken anywhere you go.

Most of my customers prefer to have full protection in and out of their home so they choose to go with our Bundled Service, our In-Home Unit as well as our GPS Service.

Thank you for that question, Bonnie. If you have further questions, please contact us at 1-877-522-9633.

Thank you.
