In this video, Kayla, Senior Care Consultant for Bay Alarm Medical, shows you what exactly comes in the box with your In-home Medical Alert System.
Hi, I’m Kayla and today I’m going to be doing the unboxing of your Bay Alarm Medical alert system.
So let’s see what we have in here. You’re going to get some paperwork, which includes your instructions on how to set up and most importantly, your Information form.
That’s where you are going to put all your contacts that you’d like us to call in the event of an emergency, as well as any access information on how you’d like paramedics to get into your home.
We also have here, our Vial of Life. This really important. You’re going to put all your medical information here, including any allergies, medications you’re taking, your doctor and what hospital you’d prefer to be taken to.Typically, you’d place this on your refrigerator or somewhere paramedics can easily access it.
You’ll also get a couple of vouchers to give out to your friends. Basically, if any of your friends sign up with us then you and your friend get a month for free.Pretty cool deal!
This is your base unit for your medical alert system. Now, this one is going to be plugged into a landline. However, if you do not have a landline, you will need our Cellular option. It’s going to look pretty similar to this one, but it will have an antenna attached to it. Keep in mind the cellular option requires an additional Cellular SIM Card in order for it to work.
It’s going to come with your choice of a button. For the sake of the video, I just have the necklace button here.
I also want to show you guys some additional items that most of our customers purchase with the system.
I have our Lockbox, which you put extra house keys in and place outside of your home. We will have your code on file so we can tell paramedics in the event of an emergency, so they can access your home without breaking any doors or windows.
Another really popular item is our Wall Button. A lot of people put them throughout their home, and I recommend at least getting one for the bathroom. You place it near the base board of the wall so if there is a fall you can still reach the Wall Button and call for help.
That’s everything that comes with our In-home system plus some additional popular items. If you have any questions, please give us a call at 1-877-522-9633. We are the experts on medical alert systems.
Thanks for watching!
